Another banger post Scientist Seb!

I fully agree with your thoughts on broad nutritional claims and I don’t believe in a ‘one diet fits all’ approach as we are all so different. I think one should find what works best for them, mentally and physically, which is exactly what you’re doing!

Keep up the good work 🙏

Thanks, Matt, and 100% agreed. I also think it’s crucial to consider the monetary incentives involved in nutrition, as many food companies benefit from studies that align with their agendas. Similarly, Big Pharma profits significantly from the rising rates of overweight and obese individuals. Often, the people promoting practices like the Carnivore diet, regenerative farming, and other off-grid, sustainable whole-food approaches have minimal financial incentives, and perhaps these are the voices we should be paying closer attention to. It’s worth raising an eyebrow even at our favourite health experts on YouTube when they start pushing supplements (e.g. Paul Saladino).

Loving this series bra, especially how objectively you put everything.

Since you’re already exploring diet optimization, could be cool to dabble in personalized nutrition —using blood / DNA / genetic data to pinpoint your optimal diet...

Keep the reflections coming, eating them up ;)))

Congratulations for passing CFA Level 3 ! !! A question: have you considered the climate effects of a carnivore diet? Love, Charlotte
